What MacBook should I buy? How much do I have to spend to get my needs met? Common questions for MacBook buyers. We say it is best to determine what your needs are, and what applications you need to run, and what MacOS will work for you before shopping. In many cases we see customers who come in shopping for a laptop but find out they need a little more machine than they thought. It is not easy to upgrade many MacBooks, and the "more" they have, the more they cost, and are sometimes out of our customer's price range. I would rather a customer saves up a little, and buys a machine with what they need, than buy a MacBook lacking the power, ram, or hard drive space they require. One doesn't want to be storing data on external drives, or waiting between operatons because a machine is just too slow. Other customers find out they want to run applications that won't run on the newer/older MacOS and the machine they purchase won't work for them. It is best to do the research, talk to experts, and find the right machine.
Remember, any time you purchase a newer MacBook be sure to log into iCloud with your account before you give anyone money. Too many people have purchased MacBooks and then found themselves locked out the next day. Very important.
