Fully Understand: At MacBook Repair Seattle / Seattle Laptop, we do our very best to try to fully understand our customer's needs. For us it is not just about fixing their broken Macs, or selling them a new MacBook. It is about listenening to them describe their needs, and either repairing or customizing their current Mac, or MacBook, or finding another machine that will serve them better. The cost of some repairs is quite high, and in many cases it might be better for a customer to sell their old MacBook or iMac for parts, and purchase a newer one. We look at things like wear and tear, and amount of use of a MacBook before we recommend repairs. Many machines are so old, or so worn that even if we fix them, there is a high probability that their MacBook may develop another problem in a short time.
Repair Or Not: We understand that purchasing a newer MacBook may be costly, but putting money into repairing an older one and then having more problems shortly after is not helping anyone either. We do all we can to understand our customer's needs, and give them good advice as far as fixing their broken MacBook, or upgrading to a newer machine. We also look at what our customers use their MacBooks for, and what their future needs will be. Newer Apple devices need newer software, and a newer MacOS and if a customer plans on upgrading their phone, or iPad their older MacBook may not be able to connect to a new device.
Determine Best Options: We do all we can to listen to our customers, and together we can determine what their best options might be. Sometimes fixing their broken MacBook is the best option, and in many other cases finding them a newer, or more powerful machine would be a better option. If a customer decides to get a newer MacBook, or iMac instead of fixing their broken one, we can migrate their data, back it up, and move their applications in most cases. If we decide to fix their MacBook we can install SSD hard drives and move their data to increase performance, as well as upgrading their ram so they can get a little more use out of their current Mac. It is all about helping our customers find the best solution that works for them every time.
